From November 2nd to 5th, 20 Biology students from the University of Nuevo Leon, Mexico, visited El Carmen Nature Reserve. During this period, El Carmen staff shared their technical expertise in wildlife surveys, wildlife radio telemetry, wildlife tracking and nature reserve management.
Since 2001, nearly one thousand students from different academic institutions have visited El Carmen Nature Reserve, which represents an “outdoor lab” for them. This “outdoor lab” is one of the 12 programs developed in El Carmen that are certified by the Wildlife Habitat Council.
